Registrations for 2019
We have started registrations for the 2019 season - please see dates and times below.
The office is located at Kolmar Sports Centre, Sutton Cres, Papatoetoe - downstairs.
Saturdays (9am to 1pm) - Mar - 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
Wednesdays (6pm to 8pm) - Mar - 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
Online registrations are open - check our website for the link.
Online payments are now working.
Please bring ID for the player.
Grading Trials - 9th Grade and above - 2nd week
Place: Papatoetoe Intermediate School, Great South Rd, Papatoetoe. (Next to Dominion Breweries)
Time: 6pm to 7.30pm. Be on time and ready to start at 6pm.
Dates: 9th & 10th Grades – Monday 25th February & 4th March.
11th & 12th Grades – Tuesday 26th February & 5th March.
13th & 14th Grades – Wednesday 27th February & 6th March.
15th, 16th, 17th Grades – Thursday 28th February & 7th March.
Another trial may be called for any of the above age groups, if the selectors feel it is necessary.
Equipment: Drink Bottle, shinpads and sandshoes/sneakers. Grounds are too hard for boots.
REMINDER: No Registration means No trial. Tell your friends!

Summer Soccer 2019 - last week
Summer Soccer will finish on Saturday 2nd March at Kolmar Sports Centre, Sutton Cres, Papatoetoe.
This will be held on the hockey turf - no boots, running shoes only. Please wear shin pads.
Please bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
Ages
4-8's - 9am to 10.30am - please be there by 8.45am.
9-14's - 11am to 12.30pm - please be there by 10.45am.
2019 NZ'er of the Year Awards-Mitre 10 NZ Community of the Year

Adapted Programme 2019
In the lead up to the 56th ISPS Honda Halberg Awards on Thursday 21 February the Halberg Foundation is hosting a media opportunity with members of the NZ Under 17 Football players that will attend Papatoetoe United Adapted Football Programme first training session of 2019.
Up to 15 physically disabled young athletes in attendance who are part of the adapted football programme will be in attendance along with the following Awards finalists: NZ Under 17 Football players - (ISPS Handa Team of the Year finalist), Anna Leat (Sky Sport Emerging Talent Award finalist) and Coach Leon Birnie (Buddle Findlay Coach of the Year finalist.

Adapted Programme - TV3 News Item
As previously advertised, we had 2 coaches from Tottenham Hotspurs visit our club last Saturday morning.
Their visit was co-ordinated by Halberg Disability Trust and AIA Insurance. This trip was organised as part of NZ’s Healthiest Schools Challenge which launched in NZ primary schools last week.
Both coaches - Shaun Harris and Anton Blackwood - were involved with the club's Adaptive Football Programme and ran the training session for the morning.
They were greatly received and the children enjoyed their interaction with both coaches.
At the same time, we had TV3 (Newshub) present to run an item on their visit to our club.
Newshub featured the item on the programme on Saturday 3rd November during the main news at 6.17pm.
This was great nationwide publicity for the Adapted Programme run at our club.

Notice to all PUFC Female Footballers
To promote the female game within our club, we are running a Females only Coaching Clinic this Sunday 15th July, for all registered players of any age.
The sessions run from 9.15am till approx. 10.30am.
We are hoping that the participants will then stay after the clinic and support our Ladies team when they play at home, at 10.45 am, plus join the team, their supporters and the opposition team to light refreshments, provided by our Ladies team, after the match at Kolmar Sports Centre.
